 Description and Applications
Basic coated electrode designed for high quality weldments of elevated
strength. Preferred electrode for HSLA Steels, rimmed steels, subzero
applications and for heavy sections where superior mechanical properties
requested to minimize cracking. An iron powder addition in the coating
gives a metal recovery of approximately 120%.
Distinguished by outstanding welding characteristics such as excellent out
of position weld ability, good striking and re striking properties, stable arc
and no spattering, easy slag removal, homogenous and smooth bead with
 low hydrogen content.
