| Description
and Applications |
| Rutile
coated austenitic electrode with low carbon stainless steel core wire, |
| for
welding molybdenum bearing the 316 and 316L type stainless steels; |
| also
it is suitable for welding of the similar composition stabilized steels |
| (316Cb,
316Ti) where creep and relaxation resistance of the parent |
| material
is not required. |
| Distinguished
by its outstanding welding characteristics such as excellent |
|
out of position weldability, good striking and re striking properties,
stable |
| arc
and no spattering, high hot cracking resistance, easy slag removal, |
| without
residues, homogenous and finely rippled seam resistant to |
| intergranular
corrosion up to 400º C. |
