| Description |
| Arctech
Fastcut is a heavily coated electrode which specially designed for |
| cutting,
gouging and piercing of weld grooves, removing of metal deposits |
| on
ferrous and non ferrous metal plates. It gives clean cutting and gouging |
| surfaces
without the need of grinding or machining. |
| It
is easy to use and this electrode must be positioned perpendicular
to the |
| work
piece for arc starting and then leaned 15º and pulled forward. This |
| electrode
should be positioned perpendicular especially during the piercing |
| operation. |
 |
| Applications |
| It
can be used for cutting gouging and weld groove preparation on various |
| types
of unalloyed and low alloyed steels, Cr-Ni alloyed and Cr-Ni-Mo |
| alloyed
stainless steels, cast steels, cast irons, and non ferrous metals |
| which
the oxy-fuel cutting methods are not applicable. |
| This
coated electrode has very good cutting, gouging and piercing |
| characteristics
in all positions and is easy to re-strike. |
