Properties

The Gold Star 402 offers a full 300 Amps of output at 60% duty cycle (395

Amps at 35%), making it ideal for welding of everything from thin wall

pipe to weldments of thicker materials. The-Gold Star 402 provides

superior SMAW (Stick) and GTAW (TIG) performance. Gold Star models

also provide GMAW (MIG)-spray and FCAW (Flux-cored) capabilities

when used with a voltage-sensing wire feeder. This unit is also capable of

AAC (Air Carbon Arc) gouging.
