Properties

The Gold Star 602 offers a full 450 Amps of output at 60% duty cycle

(590 Amps at 35%). The 602 is ideal for welding everything from thin

wall pipe to weldments of thicker materials. The Gold Star 602

provides superior SMAW (Stick) and GTAW (TIG) performance. In addition,

this unit provides excellent AAC (Air Carbon Arc) gouging capabilities for a

power source of this amperage class, putting out a full 590 amps at peak.

When used with a voltage-sensing wire feeder, GMAW (MIG)-spray and

FCAW (Flux-cored) capabilities can also be provided by this power source.
