| Hardtech
14Mn is a basic coated electrode designed to provide deposits |
| with
strong tendency to work hardening under compressive and impact |
| stresses.
It can be applied on components produced from austenitic |
| magnets
steels (Had field steel) for joining and building up of worn parts. |
| The
deposit has an excellent strain harden ability; with severe work |
| hardening
the deposited shows a high degree of hardness on the surface |
| and
core being preserved with its good toughness. The deposit can be |
| machined
only by grinding. During the built up on Hadfield steels the heat |
| input
should be kept minimum; it is recommended to weld in a water bath. |
| Applied
on earth moving and rock crushing machineries, mining and |
|
cement industry equipments. |
