 Description and Applications
Hardtech 600 is a basic coated electrode designed to provide low
hydrogen extra hard deposits resistant to abrasion impact stresses. It can
be applied on buffer layers even there successive passes without cracking.
Heat treatable steels should be preheated up to 300ºC before depositing
buffer layers. The deposit, because of its high Cr content, is corrosion
resistant and protect its hardness up to 500ºC. It can be hardened
 (1000-1050ºC/oil) and annealed (780 - 820ºC/furnace cooling).
Applied on earth moving and rock crushing machineries, mill lining, shovel
buckets and teeth, screw conveyors and road construction equipments. It
can be deposited on components of high Mn Hadfield steel.
