 Description and Applications
Hitech 502 is a basic coated electrode which developed for welding of heat
exchangers, vapor production vessels, pressure vessels which gives
5%Cr-0.50%Mo alloyed weld metal this provides high mechanical
properties between +400 and 600ºC. Easy to handle in all positions except
 vertical down.
This electrode is characterized by a steady arc with very little spatter, high
welding speed and easy slag removal. Preheating temperature is requiring
at least 300ºC and inter pass temperatures ip to 350ºC.
