| Heat exchangers,
vapor production vessels, pressure vessels are the main |
| application
areas. Hitech 9018-B3 is a basic type electrode which gives |
| chromium-molybdenum
alloyed weld metal. This provides high mechanical |
| properties
up to +600ºC. |
| Weld metal
has very low hydrogen content and easy to handle in all |
| positions
except vertical down. Preheating temperature is requiring at |
| least 200ºC
and interpass temperatures ip to 350ºC. |
