 Description and Applications
Rutil coated electrode is especially designed for welding of pressure vessel
steels and creep resisting steels. It gives chromium molybdenum alloyed
weld metal which can be used at operating temperatures up to +570ºC. At
least 200ºC Preheating is required to the base metal before welding.
Postweld heat treatment has to apply at 650-700º C for½ hour.
Weld metal has very low hydrogen content and easy to handle in all
 positions except vertical down.
