 Description and Applications
Heavy coated rutil type electrode is developed for welding of pressure
vessel steels and creep resisting steels. It gives molybdenum alloyed weld
metal which operating temperatures up to 550ºC. At least 200ºC
preheating has to applied to base metal before welding.
Weld metal has very low hydrogen content and easy to handle in all
positions except vertical down. It has reliable characteristics when welding
is requiring x-ray quality weld metal.
