| Description
and Applications |
| Irontech
is a nickel-iron cored coated electrode for without preheating |
| repair
welding of all current cast iron qualities, such as gray iron |
| GG
10-GG 40 including alloyed qualities, nodular cast
iron. It is |
| recommended
also for joining nodular cast iron to steel and for the |
| eliminating
of casting defects. |
| Distinguished
by its outstanding welding characteristics such as good |
| wetting
ability of the molten metal. Before welding dirt, paint, oil and |
| grease
must be removed from the surface of the material to be welded |
| over
sufficient with. Small electrode diameters, low amperages, short arc,
|
| short
runs less than 10 times electrode diameter are recommended to |
| avoid
overheating. |
| Preheating
is recommended (100-200ºC) for thick walled components. |
| Weld
metal and HAZ can be filled. |
