 Description and Applications
Copper coated mild steel wire is designed for submerged arc welding of
plain carbon and low alloyed steels. It provides good weld quality,
appearance and low costs. Useful for submerged arc welding of structural
steels and normalized fine grained structural steels (HSLA steels) and ship
building steels having tensile strength up to 530 N/mm².
It is suitable for shipbuilding, structural steel work, pressure vessel
 fabrication.
