| Description
and Applications |
| An agglomerated
aluminate-rutile type flux for submerged arc welding. |
| SUBTECH
- AR 33 is designed for welding of structural steels, pipe steels |
| and high
tensile strength steels. It provides pores free welds and good |
| appearance
weld beads, easy removable slag. |
| It can
be used for high speed multi-wire submerged arc welding |
| applications.
Typical application areas are the longitudinal welds and |
| circumferential
welds of pressure vessels and large-diameter pipes the |
| flux has
to re bake between 300-350ºC before welding. |
